Summary: A bad morning at Fort Courage.
Sarge wasn’t going to like this at all.
Agarn was trying to think of a way to get back to the barracks, but Captain Parmenter’s cot springs needed some oil, and the sleeping Captain had him in a firm embrace.
There was a knock on the door.
“Captain Parmenter? It’s Sergeant O’Rourke. There’s a singing Mountie here to see you.”
“Wilton? You were supposed to meet me for lunch.”
“Captain, that durn fool Dobbs still can’t get Reveille right."
“Shut up, Duffy!”
This would be a good time for an Indian attack.
