“Neal Caffrey is not what you think he is Mrs. Burke.”

Elizabeth genuinely believed that Keller meant her no personal harm, but he did have one additional agenda.

“That whole ‘conman with a heart of gold’ thing? That is bullshit. He’s a criminal through and through.”

Her expression must have conveyed, “Look who’s talking,” because he immediately switched gears.

“You know, Neal would fuck a snake to pull off a con. An FBI man would be nothing.” She saw Keller grin, which meant her own face had given something away.

At that moment she hoped that Peter would kill him.
