So sad! I knew she couldn't live forever but even so... I have a ridiculous number of Anne's books on my shelves, I think the only series I don't have is the 'Acorna' series.

RIP Anne, you've brought me many years of reading pleasure.

Sorry to barge in, but is there anything of hers you would find suitable for an almost teenager? I only read a short story of her as a teen (of the singing ship series) and it staid in my memory because of how awesome it was.
Hope you don't mind the question, I think passing on great writers to the next generation is the best way to honor their memory.

Just heard the news and am a little in shock. Anne is one of my all-time favorite writers, and I'll miss her enormously.
