John knew he wasn’t mean to know and quite frankly he didn’t want to.
The bits of Sherlock’s life that he was privy to were bad enough. For months he had the opportunity to observe, at close range, manic depression, substance abuse and several behaviours that hadn’t yet made the DSM.
None of them as shocking as this. Sherlock and Donovan canoodling over sake in a Soho sushi bar; their sexual attraction as manifest as their hostility had been at the crime scene. Not a sight John would ever forget; try as he might.
Nor one he would ever mention.
