He slept fitfully, with Olivier’s Hamlet on the telly in the background, and found himself in a dream version where Rosencrantz and Guildenstern looked like Ray and Chris and Ophelia sounded like the child who never stopped tormenting him.
Frailty, thy name is woman!
Where was Maya? If he’d really saved her, why wasn’t she here?
To be or not to be? That is the question.
Should he keep fighting for life and sanity?
He woke up with a dry mouth and a horrible realisation. His life wasn’t a joke.
It was a tragedy.
