This one's a bit of a mystery to me, as I'm unfamiliar with either fandom. But I do absolutely love the phrase "elegantly filthy couplings".

What inspired that little gem, pray tell? :D

The line? That's just how I imagine Jack and Janette would be together, and why Jack would try and protect her from Torchwood until he couldn't anymore. Forever Knight was a great (ok, not great, but fun and cheesey) vampire show from the 80's. Made in Canada, by the way.

I like "elegantly filthy" so much I could swoon. I hope you spend some time every day being grateful that you can write so well such a beautiful, rich language (English has just more words than Italian has, you know? Italian is shrinking as I live, and English is growing).

And for some reason I pictured Janette not as the beautiful, sexy young woman she probably is but as the nice fifty-year old street lady who stands at the corner near my flat every evening and that always eets me so kindly. She would deserve a night with Jack, as a consolation for a very hard life.

Janette is beautiful sexy and young... but also lot older than 50; she was a lady of the night in the 11th Century!

I honestly started writing this one with almost no idea where it was going to go, but the idea of Jack and Janette in bed (or where ever they chose to do it) immediately evoked the phrase "elegantly filthy." Here's a picture of Janette:

What do you want for more of Jack/Janette. Forever Knight was my first fandom and Janette/Nat was my first slash. I so want Jack/Janette now.

OMG, yes! I love Forever Knight, and Janette was my favorite character. I can easily see Janette with Jack--not a vampire and yet someone she cannot kill. :-)
