Hee! That's probably the first Doctor/Nikki crossover I've ever seen! (And now I'm trying to imagine which Doctor it was! *g*)

I really like this. It sounds very much like something the Doctor might have done, and definitely something he would turn the conversation away from in that frustrating way he has... :-)

I was challenged by the idea of Eleven actually remembering himself as a previous Doctor, because I wanted the voice and action to be right for both. (In my mind it was Ten, because I figured the CBGB thing would make sense for the guy who wanted to see Ian Drury and the Blockheads in 1979.)
