Will I ever be able to read Wodehouse again with the innocent eyes he undoubtedly requires?
That was great. Repast. I'm still chuckling.

Oh honey....there is a world of J/W out there that's considerably smuttier than this. And I've written at least one super dark fic of DOOM for the pairing, along with a few fluffier, but still racy pieces, usually for mmom.

Glad you liked. The Woodhouse language is so particular. Along with Firefly (for the same reason) it's the hardest fandom for me to write.

" I've written at least one super dark fic of DOOM for the pairing"
now you owe me a link.

And I'm wondering if people manage to be smutty while retaining the language. It is in principle achievable, but requires literary prowess.

I've read some excellent fic that did manage to be smutty AND still maintain the language, but it's a hard row to hoe.

This is the first part of the Dark-fic, but before you read it, PLEASE look at the warnings and take them serious. If you have non-con, dub-con, or alcohol abuse trigger issues, it's really not the fic for you.

For smutty fluff, try these:

Also look for good stuff at fryandorlaurie. They have an excellent masterlist of fic.

Thanks sweetie! I love writing them, but I also have to sneak just a smidgen of angst in there. At least this is fluffier than my dark-fic of DOOM!

I have a friend who writers Jeeves and Wooster too. I love the language and how you've made it spot on! Poor Bertie can be so thick and adorable at the same time.

It's the hardest fandom for me to write, because the language has to be exactly right. I love Bertie, but I also see a certain amount of darkness and angst in the relationship, which is funny, since it's pretty much the fluffiest fandom ever,

Thanks for reading and commenting.

They are set during rather dark times though... and my friend touches on that darkness.

True! I think a hint of that even comes through in this drabble.

I've written one exeptionally dark-fic J/W epic, but as I pointed out to damigella, the warnings need to taken seriously.
