So glad you liked. It was a struggle to keep this light and still in character for the show and the "real world."

I know! It was a really great show and I wish we had a bigger fandom for it.

Pappy! *tackles*

Oh, man, I miss that show. It's one of those shows I'd watch over and over in reruns, but I can't find it anywhere lately.
:(

I don't usually do RPF, but since Hollywood fudged the truth for TV, I have no problem playing with the Black Sheep.

My Robert Conrad crush of the 80's was IN-TENSE!

I don't consider Black Sheep to be RPF, because as you mention, they changed so much. HOWEVER, I've read the book and and on occasion I have incorporated more of the truth into my Black Ship fic, especially Greg Boyington's alcoholism.

If you haven't read it, may I rec this very nice and not surprisingly fluffy fic that vanillafluffy wrote for Yuletide in 2009: http://archiveofourown.org/works/33352

Thanks for the link. *memorizes* I adore fluffy's work.

My love for Bob Conrad goes all the way back to The Wild, Wild, West. Jim West's twinkling blue eyes, cocky smile, and skin tight pants had my little heart all a-flutter even if I didn't know why.

Plus, he had that gorgeous black horse. The way to a man's heart may be through his stomach, but the secret to a little girl's is a horse. A big girl's, too: Bonanza, Big Valley, Virginian, *sigh* I miss the days when Westerns ruled.

That man was FINE back in the day and pretty much through the 80's. I've written a few WWW fics, if you're interested as well.

Awwww! Thanks sweetie! I'm in the middle of a massive LJ catch-up, so even if I've not commenting, I'm still following and paying attention.

I signed up for this years Remix and then Had to put together an actual, up-to-date comprehensive Master List. It would have been a lot easier if I'd been consistently and intelligently tagging from day one, instead of the unbelievable inconsistent and haphazard way I went about it.

I wondered about your burst of industry. My system isn't quite so organized; I've got everything tagged as "author: vanillafluffy", and I'm pretty sure it's everything I've ever posted on LJ. There's an arseload more at the Pit, most of it predating my arrival here. AO3 isn't even remotely comprehensive, mostly because I can't face all that cutting and pasting, to say nothing about WARNING for anything and everything. *eyeroll*

In going through everything, I was kind of taken aback by stories that went up with far less warning then they would require today. I had one from the "I'm on speed" episode, where Wilson ended up doing Chase in the men's room. If I put that up now, I'd probably have to warn for dub-con on Wilson's part (since he was under the influence) and put a bunch of trigger warnings on it as well.
