Oh I LOVE this. I didn't care for Donna in The Runaway Bride but loved her in the series - there is something so noble yet tragic about her.

Thanks so much! I kind of hated her in Runaway Bride, but even then we got some idea of what her mother was like and why she'd be so desperate to get married. Once we got the rest of the story, including the true terror of Sylvia, she got more lovable. But I like that Donna was always a bit prickly. Much as I love Rose, there was always something a little too cuddly. (Although I also had plenty of moments of Rose-hate.)
