Neal has prevailed on the matter of the deviled ham, but Peter is firmly in control of the car radio. Peter appears to be dozing off, so Neal makes a move for the dial, just as a familiar growly bass starts singing.
“Don’t even think it,” Peter snaps without opening his eyes.
“This song? Really?”
“First dance at our wedding.”
He can just picture El in her gown and Peter in a slightly awkward tux. He realizes again how lucky he is to have them in his life.
Good times never felt so good.
