Summary: What does time mean to a Time Lord?

Funny thing about being a Time Lord; somehow time itself doesn’t matter so much. Humans though, they tend to take it seriously.

Some more seriously than others, he’d learned the hard way. His companions had been counting years, months, and days, ready to throw each second back in his face when he did cross their paths again, or just happen to show up a little later than he’d planned.

Amy’s twelve years, Sarah Jane’s decades and Jack’s century had been nothing to the Doctor, but now he carried them along with his other guilts.

Time was starting to matter.
