Happy Monday
And a happy day it is! I'm at work now, and I just got through reading all of my E-mails - I had 41 new ones, which is relatively light.
I had a good weekend, though I'm bummed that I didn't get a chance to go to the Arts Festival this weekend. It's not like I would have been able to buy even the cheapest thing, but some of the art is really interesting to look at. I worked at Borders for most of the day on Saturday and then went to the Starliner Diner in Hilliard for the first time. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. The margaritas were very good - and I had two! Later, we went to the Blues Station to hear this band called "The Randys." One of the lead singers is one of my managers at Borders; it was a good time. I thought I'd might get a chance to get downtown on Sunday, but I had church stuff all day. It's all good as it looks like I'll be here next year this time. I'm all primed and ready for Comfest, which is happening in a few short weeks. I'm working the wine booth again (Friday) and the beer booth. I'm not a huge fan of Comfest, but I think it should be supported because it's a completely volunteer-based festival, so I try to volunteer every year for it.
I have a meeting with my committee at 2:00 today. I'm praying that I don't have to make too many revisions to my grant. Ideally, I want to turn in the final paperwork to the graduate school this week.

Just got back from my committee meeting. They tore me a new one. I'll be very, very busy doing revisions this week and weekend. There is no way in hell I'm doing any more school after this.
I'm off to buy some chocolate...and booze.
