Sugita Tomokazu; or, the Random Inspiration Fairy

I have decided that Sugita Tomokazu is my hero. This is the man who voices Gintoki (Gintama), Kyon (SuzuHaru), Graham (Baccano!) amongst a bunch of other credits. He's certainly nowhere near prolific as Koyasu And His HosTM, nor as low-voiced as the Okawa-Suwabe brain-break combo (♥), but Sugita is:
Awkward, shy, insanely talented, good at his job - I'm the first two and lord knows I want to be the second two and I would die to be paid to do four years of work on an anime that makes fun of the whole world and yet inspires massive amounts of heartburn and magic.
Most days I have no idea what to do with my life; it's like I'm waiting for answers to fall into my lap while the universe alternates between spinning too slowly or too quickly. Listening to Sugita voice-act is a bit like looking up at the stars - they're millions of years away, some of them are dead, none of them are sentient, and there's probably no meaning or method to their madness. But you look at them anyway, in their twinkling bright oddly patterned nonsensical beauty and feel a little bit more sure about yourself and your life and the time you've got in front of you.

I have ten years to become a socially awkward genius! Whether it's writing (which I never feel I do well), or Real Life Subjects (pointed, but boring) or Cool Subjects (pointless, but amazing), or just walking out onto the streets of the world and Making Shit Up. I also hope that each and everyone of the people in my life (INCLUDING YOU DEAR READER) gets to do something ridiculous, stupidly scary, amazing and life changing in their own time.

- Ridiculously young. This boy is a 1980 baby, putting him a mere decade ahead of me.
- Ridiculously talented. Watch him do live dramas for Saint Beast. Put on Gintama. Listen to his voice.
- Ridiculously awkward socially. He says little, moves less, then comments about how his Seiyuu Award looks like a weapon and attacks the MC with it.
