a cute lil story that i forgot to mention earlier

i left st pete on monday @ 3pm.....thanks to franks great directions i was only up by myturle beach @ 1 am. I had been driving non stop. i was hungry, tired and couldnt feel a lit fire cracker up my ass. so thanks to traveling on back roads.....the speed limits were constantly changing. suddenly i see blue lights. i pull over and began crying, the kind of gut sobbing where you just want the end to come. The police officer informs me that i was goin at 65 mph....20 over the limit. I begin to apoligize say that there was no exuse for my recklessness other then the fact that i was dead tired and had been driving since 3pm and was in a rush to get where i was going. the cop asked where i was headed an with no thought AT ALL completely on impluse i said, " im heading over to Jacksonville NC to Camp Lejuene. My husband is being deployed to Iraq on friday"  The cop went to his car with my info, and in a min or 2 he came back and said " i'm letting you off with a warning. please wish your husband the best of luck and take care."
i was stocked.....not only at the excuse that i came up with but the cops reaction.....yes i have marine crap on my car (including a pic of frank on my dash) yes i flashed my dependent ID (to my father) when he asked for my info. yes i was crying but hell frank isnt even at camp lejuene and he was def. not deploying  and im def. not married......
but still...yay for good luck and understanding cops.
i tolf michi this story and she said i was going to hell......
but im sure other ppl have said/done worse things to get out of a ticket
