Ive got another confession to make.
This weekend was a fun one. Friday was the long ass track meet, but i guess other than the time it took up it was pretty cool. It was really awesome because me and Jackie Schweiger were sitting there taking times and a white dove flew by, i believe white doves mean peace or something. But it was really awesome and made me feel like safe or peaceful or somehting.
The next Day, Saturday it was a beautiful sunny day. I got up and got ready and all that junk and then i went to Laurens house. Then me and lauren went to colony bowl to get ice cream with Billy, Chris, Elizabeth, and Brittney. The ice cream was sensational.. haha and then my absolutely wonderful boyfriend came to the colony bowl to pick me up and take me to his cousins birthday. I was so nervous because like all of his family was there like Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.But i had a great time. I spent most of my time rolling a ball across the grass to a three year old, and listening to her talk about everything under the sun. She was adorable though and so was his other cousins. I absolutely love his family so much.
Then afterwords I went to Bretts house. It was like the most wonderful nihgt ive had with him in a while. We looked at pictures for like a hour or so. And then we went outside since it was dark and sat on a chair and looked at the stars. While we talked too...And i started crying while we sat there because he is graduating next year and i will miss him so much. I love that kid like woah and its gonna suck. And he showed me his boat, it was pretty darn romantic being out on the water in the night.
I loved this weekend, it really made me appreciate every aspect of my life. Being around my friends, and bretts family, and him. His family made me think so much of my childhood. And although i had a great childhood and sometimes i wish i could go back, im still semi glad that im growing up. I think its what ive always wanted right?
Theres a time you just have to let go of the old things. Throw away an old shirt that just wont fit anymore, to make room in your closet for a new one. But there is also a time to keep things most dear to you, stick them in a frame next to your bed so you can look at it before you say hello to your dreams. But there will always be the sweet memories you shared, and i guess in that case the old things never truly leave you until you let them.
I cannot believe school is almost over....
Came to the conclusion that...
- I absolutely love kids
- I also love algonac
- I also love being outside
- I like the atmosphere of most track meets
- Sometimes Schaffer creeps me out
- A simple sunny day makes all the difference
