Just some mental flotsam..
How often do you hit the space bar with your non-dominant thumb? At least 99% of the time, I hit the space bar with my right thumb. On the laptop, there is actually a spot worn smooth where my thumb strikes the space bar. On this keyboard, there is a clear difference between the left half and the right half of the key.
Last month, I put my clothes in the drawers under the bed. When I take a shirt out and put it on, it's always snuggly warm. This makes me happy on cold mornings. :)
The Beach Boys get stuck in my head easily. I asked
holly_lama if she counts as a Midwest Farmer's Daughter (yes) and now I wish they all could be California Girls.
I should do something productive today, but I probably won't.
Scratching my foot when it's numb and asleep feels ... weird. I can feel the pressure of scratching, but not the scratchy feeling.
One of my phones gets a short network update (probably a time sync) every half hour. My speakers and sometimes my headphones at work pick up on the data signal, so I hear a second of quick, patterned buzzing.
Because of the approaching holiday, I feel I shouldn't buy myself anything I want (as opposed to things I need) lest someone else be planning to get it for me.
Given that what I wrote for NaNoWriMo is primarily dialog, am I writing a book, or a play? Maybe a radio/podcast drama.
Using
Dan Vann's
Chibi Deities - Odin as a book mark for American Gods seems at once a silly idea, and the only logical book mark.
