Aural Happiness

I downloaded the Katamari Damacy sound track the other day.

It is pure, distilled aural joy.

While listening to the music, my mind fills in the noises of the katamari rolling things up. For instance, during this song, I hear the bloops of picking up countries as the moon sized katamari rolls around the earth.

Listening to this while playing City of Heroes is, to say the least, interesting.

Last night, the party finished up the adventure. Deciding they had answered enough of the bard's questions about the dragon, and not wanting to test its defensive capabilities, they collected their rewards and went on their way. Now I have to think of new and interesting ways for them to die horrible, painful deaths ... I mean, "fun, exciting adventures" ... ;)

On a whim, I watched The Incredibles again yesterday. It's still a great movie, and I've still got a huge crush on Sarah Vowell. *sigh* For some reason, the most memorable scene for me is after they've landed the RV, and Mr Incredible is telling is wife to stay behind because he's "not strong enough" which she interprets as physical strength, and is lated revealed to be emotional strength, he can't face losing her again.

Dell finally responded to my tech support request, a week and change later. I submitted the form 10/13. In my message, I said that the system doesn't boot, I've gone through the basic trouble shooting of unplugging power, external devices, etc, to see if it'll boot of battery. Their response was "We've received your message. Try these basic troubleshooting steps and let us know how it works out, and we'll proceed from there" At least when I worked tech support I (usually) paid attention to the customer's email and didn't just respond with a form.

The day's going pretty well so far. Woke up with a bit of a headache, but that was no unexpected. No plans for the day, so I'll probably end up playing City of Heroes or something.
