Right now, I should be practicing writing my paragraph for the Chinese test tomorrow.
Instead I'm writing this, listening to the TV (among other sounds) and letting my mind wander.
I want to be reading Nuklear Age.
I want to be working on (at least) one of three pen and paper RPGs. (creating the H2G2 RPG setting, Paranoia sounds fun, and I've got a couple of ideas for a regular D&D 3.5 campaign on the back burner)
I want to re-watch the 9th Doctor's adventures.
I'd like to take a nap ...
In short, I want to do anything but my homework. The only reason I did any of it this afternoon is because I went to a Starbucks in Denver 'cause I was 95% sure Rachel and I were supposed to meet there today to catch up. I figured I'd probably have to wait a bit, so I brought the homework, and nothing else... I have the pinyin (roman characters) for the paragraph I'm going to write... but I don't have it memorized, and I need to write it in Chinese characters (gorram ideograms).
I really want to be reading Nuklear Age ... such a good book, if you can get past the typos in the iUniverse edition.
Guh... so much dislike for school ... why isn't there a way I can just have the knowlege written to my brain? Why must I "learn"?
Curse this interminable meatspace!
