Man ... Today ...
Around quarter to noon, Matthew called and asked if I wanted to help him repunch some phone wire at his appartment, as he and Mary moved to the other side of the hallway, and for some reason didn't want to bother the people that would normally do this. I was hesitant, but he bribed me with sammiches and beer.
I went to the office to get the networking bag, and didn't find the more useful of the punch down tools, so I grabbed the other and headed to Matthew's appartment.
Turns out, I needed the other punchdown 'cause the one I had could only do 110 style, which this was not. So I helped move some things and then we hung out and ate some very good BLTs and drank some very good beer. I noticed I was slightly buzzed (two Fat Tire's on a mostly empty stomache will do that ...), and so did not want to leave for a while.
We chatted some more then he suggested we walk to the ice cream shoppe. That was some damn good ice cream.
Once back at his appartment, he said he was going to get some work done, and I took off to go in to the office to wire up my phone. Pain in the ass.
The punch down tool I *did* have worked for what I needed it to do in theory. In practice, it's a piece of crap that doesn't punch the wire down right.
Around 5:30 Rojzik called and asked when we could game tonight. I said 6:30 and we agreed. Pizza and Gaming at 6:30 at Neon's house.
I actually showed up a little late, but with the gaming books and dice.
We played Rojzik's campaign and by the end of the night both charcters (mine and Neon's) were dead.

KarakSindru81: Neon's character tried to jump across a an opening from the rickety ladder / bridge we were on, to the area where the goblins were standing (these are Rojzik Goblins, tougher than standard)
KarakSindru81: he missed the jump, was was able to grab and hold on to the ledge while the goblin beat him
KarakSindru81: I was busy killing a second goblin

KarakSindru81: Neon's sorcerer fell unconcious, then fell 20 feet and broke a leg. then when I was crossing the bridge to climb down to see if he needed help, the bridge broke and I fell on him

KarakSindru81: we had to sneak past a small army of goblins (~40) to get to this cave. at the top was the leader, who was conveniently standing at the edge of a 100 ft drop as I approached him
KarakSindru81: so instead of fighting I just shoved him off
KarakSindru81: this, unexpectedly, angred the goblins, and I was trapped at the top of this ledge, eventually meeting my fate as the goblins crushed my neck in my sleep
All in all not a bad session. Neon was playing a sorcerer/rogue, and I was a cleric/chaotic (evil / crazy paladin type thing Rojzik made up)
I think I might just pass out now ... but in all liklyness I'll be up for another few hours ..
