Mrs Smith's green peas. They're choc full of green pea-ness

Feb 24, 2004 23:43

I was going to tite this You're beautiful. Let's have sex. but I went to get dinner instead. In my dinner, a Kroger brand microwave treat, there was some peas. Green peas. It reminded me of an Animaniacs short where the voice of The Brain (Paul Rudd? Not sure ... ) was playing Orsen Wells in an advertisement for Mrs Smith's Green Peas. Reading from the teleprompter, he says "They're choc full of green peaness" which, of course, sounds like something else. He walks off stage indignantly, after helping himself to a couple pocketfuls of peas from a large platter of peas on the desk.

So now I will ask this of my female readership:
If someone randomly walked up to you on the street and said "You're beautiful. Let's have sex." how would you respond?

That line is in my head because, for some unknown reason, Logan's Run jumped in my head while watching Soylent Green tonight.

Talk about a worthless movie, though. I think Soylent Green is woth watching if you haven't heard of it, but other than that, you know enough to get any popculture refrence to it... such as Futurama's Soylent Cola joke ... it wasn't so bad, I suppose, but I don't think I'd like to watch it again, unless someone else wanted to watch with me ..

Not much else to say about the day, really. I worked some more on the journal info page layout for Viadesto ... pulled a list of domains for Craig [Damn, still haven't thanked him for his office mojo ...] ...

Madge came back from Thailand, and brought the dev team gifts of chop sticks in Thai silk pouches. ^_^ This of course meant that we went for chinese food after the dev team meeting.

Feeling a bit lonely, but still good in general. My back is doing MUCH better today. Thank you again, Alarin. Those stretches really helped.
