Dumbledore cast an amused look at the students assembled in the Great Hall. The sorting ceremony had just ended but he still had a surprise for the students that he knew they would enjoy. He stood and moved to the podium to speak. “Attention, Attention please,” he announced as the overwhelming roar of the room dulled to a whisper, and then silence. “I have an announcement to make. This year for some time, Hogwarts will play host to several scientists who have come not only to study our ways of magic but also to teach us. You may have heard of them as the Fantastic Four.”

Dumbledore paused for a moment to allow the excited whispers to pass before he continued. “I expect that everyone will treat them with the courtesy and respect they deserve. They are but students of their own powers in many ways as you all are learning of yours and they have sought to come here to learn from us.”

Just before he was finished, a bright fire suddenly lit up the hall, flying back and forth for a moment before landing on stage next to him. The flame suddenly became a smoking human in a jumpsuit, reaching out to shake Dumbledore’s hand. “Lesson one kids, know how to make an entrance. I’m Johnny, aka the Human Torch. Everyone else should be arriving shortly.”

“Wicked!” exclaimed George and Fred Weasley at the same time.

Ron and Harry also looked impressed but Hermione was unsurprised. “I’ve read about him. He has to show off everywhere he goes. Not a very impressive display.”

“What do you mean not impressive. Bloody hell that was good!” Ron exclaimed. “Don’t you ever just let yourself be impressed by anything.”

“I would be impressed if you would actually study for a change rather than get yourself into trouble,” she replied haughtily, before turning back to the book she was reading.
