The Hobbit
Today we're on our way home, and tomorrow we go back to work.
We went to see "The Hobbit" yesterday and then out to dinner and had a great time. Life goes on, but it seems very bizarre to laugh and have such a good time--all this emotional crap is so exhausting, and I'm really not good at it. I want to be home.
Anyway, I enjoyed the Hobbit. The guy playing young Bilbo was fab and a lot of the goofy stuff fit with how the dwarfs had been presented in the first trilogy, too--comic relief guys given a story, so that wasn't entirely unexpected. I hadn't expected it would end in a cliffhanger, though I should have, but I really liked the show. There were some odd loose ends I'm curious to see if they get tied up in the next movie.
