"Box"ed in
I'm so glad it's the end of the political admail. However much any of us got in our boxes, it was as nothing to how much we had overall! Wow, what a deluge. These past few days, some customers have put up "vote this way" posters, so that was something to watch out for, no prob. Only one fellow started in on a political rant with me, and every time he took a breath, I talked about something else: weather, health, a restaurant. It took about ten minutes of him getting louder and louder, but he finally gave up in the face of my resolute blahness. Another fellow asked me my party, and I flat told him I wasn't going to say. Nice, you know, but just not going there.
I'm not getting away long enough to catch my breath or think things through, but it's interesting, and I like being part of people's important things.
My house is a disaster, the yard's a wreck, the poor doggy girls feel very neglected, the hub really does not see that his life should change at all, friends are wanting to come over on Monday night for a get together (omg).
On the plus side, I'm down to 122 lbs.
