I'm at 33,354 words of drek.
For my Nano, I don't necessarily post my word counts every day, but try to write at least a thousand words, with a big blob to catch up when it starts getting scary. I'm golden today, but only about 20 words ahead of target. One of my how to writes, talking about being a professional writer, was that she writes 4,000 words a day, minimum, every day, which, I wrote about 3,000 yesterday and a little more than that today, and I could write more, certainly. It's funny, because when I'm not writing I forget, completely, how much I can write when I'm relaxed and having fun.
As usual, and I believe, usual for pantsers, my novel has a lot of issues. It turns out I didn't have an antagonist. I thought I did, but I didn't. I was using the wrong point of view character for a while there, but I think that's rather resolved itself, I've also got a big problem with the whole "who cares" issue that colors many of my short stories. Still, I'm getting braver and stronger with stepping out of my comfort zones, there's some good bits, my characters are getting clearer every day.
