Ode to 2006
2006 is going to be fabulous....
My New Year's resolution is to finish everything I start. Mark this on your calendars, folks; I NEVER finish anything. I am going to finish school right around January 2007 so this year is dedicated to school, job hunting and growing up.
Last night, without going into detail, I had an excellent/horrible night. It started out wonderful but ended up with me losing a friend. Honestly, if somebody would ditch me for a guy then they probably weren't that good of a friend to begin with. My mom said that my friendship with this girl is stronger than that and I should forgive [but not forget].... last night was the final straw. True, [friend] never did anything really shitty to me.... it seems like she is just forgetting about me. I don't care what the reason is, if I go somewhere with a friend, I LEAVE WITH THE SAME FRIEND!!!! [exception would be Dave Matthews, but I would leave my family for a piece of DM]
I got to hang out with a few Chicago Bears at LeveL last night... I got into VIP because I made friends with the VIP guys who wanted to show me a good time [this was pre-crying fight, he met me at Cactus]. They are always at Melvins and Cactus when I am there and they know that I get bored and pissed off because a certain person always blows me off for a guy. It's really not what you know, rather, who you know.
Aside from what happened last night, this year has been a riot. It started out rocky... I went to Canada... I grew closer to some people...grew apart from others...I achieved a few goals [and "goals]...I got into IUB for the 3rd time... some of my friends got married... didn't see a DMB concert:-(....kept a bank job for over 6 months.... spent over $10,000 this year [wow, that really sucks]....was proactive in changing a few things.....
