go to a CHP office. They do such things free of charge as a community service, and thus are very good at at.

One of my best friend's husband is a CHP and he installs car seats regularly.

I think I read somewhere that AAA will also check to make sure you installed your baby seat right. I think I figured it out, I just got kind of tired after scrunching over in the back seat with the vacuum and then I realized the car was on a slope in the driveway so it wasn't going to work and it was getting dark anyway. I'll try again tomorrow. :)
