So I was browsing around on HuffPo yesterday, and found a link to this article:

Halloween is considered a holiday in the United States. In fact, it rivals Christmas with regard to how widely celebrated it is... But is Halloween a holiday that Christians should be observing?

Should we celebrate a holiday that has its roots in pagan worship and make fun of ghosts and evil spirits? That's a fair question, I suppose. But then it takes a whole new turn into crazy by bringing up demons. In your candy. Yes, your mom's old pillowcase may be filled with Jolly Ranchers... and Satan.

During this period demons are assigned against those who participate in the rituals and festivities. These demons are automatically drawn to the fetishes that open doors for them to come into the lives of human beings. For example, most of the candy sold during this season has been dedicated and prayed over by witches.

*blinkblink* So I'm getting this mental picture of a bunch of witches standing on the loading dock hurling curses as giant pallets of candy are hauled off to Walgreen's. That's the only way I can explain those orange and black peanut things-- I always knew those came directly from Hell. Bleccch.

So consider yourself warned. Be careful, don't eat any demons, and have a happy Halloween everyone!

This article was too wacky for even Pat Robertson.. it's been taken off his site, but you can still read it here. (OMG.. it's hit MSNBC.)
