Guess who's finally hungry....
I stopped at the pet store to pick up some more pinky mice for Maddie. The few times we've tried to feed her, she hasn't been too enthusiastic about eating them, and we would find the mouse still in the box, and Maddie asleep at the other side of the tank. I figured I'd just stock up and try to give her a mouse every couple of days until she eventually eats it. Picky creature.
I also got her a cave, since she seems to be all about the burrowing and the hiding and burying herself in the dirt. Might as well get her a stylish hideout.
But when I went to put the cave in her tank, she actually leaped out of her box at me when I flipped the light on.
*jump!*

She looks a little embarrassed. I think I either startled her, or she's hungry and snapping at moving things. Still, that was a Boo-sized strike-- I've never seen her move that fast. Thawing a mouse now... we'll see what happens. :)
