RE: Grown-up lunches that pack a punch
Was that a three page article about how to pack a sack lunch? Seriously? With helpful nuggets of information like, "Pack smart so that the contents of your lunch don't get squashed or leak"? You're kidding me, right?
Most grownups I know mastered the skills of Putting Food You Like in Tupperware and Don't Put Your Apple On Top of the Doritos somewhere around, oh, sixth grade. And yet, I don't know too many junior high schoolers that would enjoy dandelion green empanadas and wine. As far as I can tell, this article is for very sophisticated children or very stupid adults.
I know there have been layoffs at the Times, but even for filler, this is pretty weak. I'd say that I'm cancelling my subscription, but I read the Times online-- I don't need to pay to have stupidity like this delivered.
