AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHH!!!

I love you, Firefox, but this bookmark bullshit needs to stop.

Before I upgraded, I exported my bookmarks to a folder on my desktop.  Then I upgraded to FF3.

When I restarted, my bookmarks were gone.  No problem.  I went to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks...
Then Import and Backup > Import HTML and picked my HTML file of bookmarks that I just backed up.  Clicked OK.

Now, when I click on "Bookmarks" in the top toolbar, I see all of my bookmarks drop down.  Woo!  When I CTRL + B to bring them up in the sidebar, I get...

... nothing.

Also, when I close Firefox and restart, they all disappear again.  If I add a new bookmark, though, it will reappear, but all my old ones are still gone.

Am I doing something wrong?  Has anyone else had this issue?

edit:  Have restarted computer.  Same problem.  Have also disabled all extensions.  Same problem.
