Right!
This morning was so freakin' awesome.
I should back up. Yesterday, we got ourselves checked in, and after we showered, we borrowed some snorkels and fins from the lady at the front desk, then jumped in the water. We paddled around, and my god almighty there were FISH! Lots of little fishies! Striped and neon blue and rainbow-ish and pointy and just so frickin' cool. Like swimming in a tropical fish tank. Then I saw the shark-- a little one, but still quickly headed for the sand. Ms. Oozing-Open-Knee-Wound doesn't get along well with sharks, even if they are only as big as your arm.
So this morning, we met the dive master after breakfast, and we learned the basics of scuba diving. :D Got the regulators all set up, got our wetsuits on, and we were off on the boat! Even though it was cloudy, we still got to see a whole lot of stuff, including the aforementioned FISH! and some bright blue sea anemones, and giant clams that snapped shut when you waved water at them.
We had so much fun, that tomorrow, we're going over to Shark Island. :D

We also went for a walk after dinner, and found out we're really stuck on this island. The roads are all washed out, and we're basically in the middle of the jungle. w00t!
One aside: Things never really dry out here.-- there's just different degrees of dampness. This morning I was about a four, now I'm about a two, the towel never goes below four, and when we came up from the dive and realized it was pouring rain.. that was an eleven.
