So, after many years of mulling it over and weighing the various factors in my mind, I finally decided to have a vasectomy. I've long held that the population problem is really the root of most of humanity's other problems and every one of us is responsible for fixing it (no pun intended). Plus, my long-running loathing of children continues unabated, so it really just seemed like a good idea. The procedure itself is remarkably quick and painless, it's just the recovery that was kind of miserable. But from what I've read, my recovery was much slower than most people and it is mostly fine now.

Suffice to say, I highly encourage anyone and everyone to be inspired by my example. :)
