i've been doing too much thinking to work on my homework. all i have to do before break is finish my geography paper and write my spanish paper.

i've decided i'm completely ok with graduating early now. i take full advantage of all of the opportunities here. i'll probably get much more out of college in my 3 years here than many people do in 4 or 5 years. i'm also sure i'll be prepared to move on by next spring. and another year would suck without all my closest friends anyway. i have good friends that are my own age, but the ones i'm the closest with are a year older. this way i get to go through senior year, senior week, the senior dance, and graduation with my best friends here, which will be really cool.

next year is going to just rock in general. kelli, molly and i (and maybe others) are going somewhere warm for february break. all we know now is that it's going to be warm and have a beach... and it'll be about a week after i turn 21! my birthday will rock next year too.... that's probably the best thing about being the last one in a group of friends to turn 21... i'll get to celebrate and go out to the bars with everyone! (though it was also fun when kelli was the only one drunk on her birthday) i'll be rooming with kelli and molly next year, which will be a blast... i'll be editor in chief of the paper (i'll be moving up to co-editor in chief next semester)... i'll probably still have my job at the daily news... there will probably be more home volleyball games to do podcasting for... it's just going to be a great year all-around. i'm excited.

i'm bummed i won't get to study abroad. but they did just add a new program this year... 3 weeks in italy in may. i could totally do that. and i'd get 3 credits out of the way... which would be one less class to fit into my last two semesters. there's an information meeting tomorrow that i'm going to try to go to. hopefully it works out. we'll see. i'd have to go this may, so i'm not really expecting it to work out.

i should really work on these papers and/or clean up a bit... i wasted plenty of time watching the vikings game.

i'm soooo excited to go home tuesday!! mostly to have a break and because of thanksgiving, but also because i've barely even talked to my family since october break. plus, i'll get to see some high school friends. (i keep in touch with even fewer of them than before... i never realized that would happen so fast)

ok seriously. time to be productive.
