(no subject)
i'm at work for 2 more hours and we're only waiting on one more call. we won't get more than 3 calls, but i guess the other two schools never call us with scores. so i have time to sit and do nothing.
i talked to my adviser today. i'm switching the spanish major back down to a minor. i'm too lazy to explain why. my minor will be completely done next semester (and i've actually taken 2 classes too many. but i need the grammar class next semester). oh wait... i might not take any spanish next semester... but either way i only have one more semester of spanish to go now. i also get to take random electives and fewer credits toward the end of my time here so i don't have to graduate early.
i got an invitation to a national honor society. my mom's thrilled. i'll admit i'm a little pleased myself.
my second article is going in tomorrow's daily news. i hope the next ones are in weekday issues so i don't have to go buy them from the gas station. we get the daily news for free at school, but not the weekend paper.
i'm so tired. my aunt and uncle came to visit me, so we went to garvin heights and up to sugarloaf. you don't know what those are. basically, we were hiking in the bluffs all afternoon. and tomorrow i'm hiking up to "the rock" with my friends.
i got my mile and a half down to 10:45 yesterday!! i was very excited :) i also added weight to my bench press. still pathetic, but 5 pounds less pathetic than earlier in the week.
i was gonna go to a halloween party after work, but i don't think i will anymore. i'm just exhausted. i get off work at 11, and then i'd have to go get in costume and get to the party. and i have to give a tour at 10am tomorrow, so that's just a little pointless.
it was gorgeous out today. you know it's a good day when you're walking around in minnesota on halloween day with a short-sleeved shirt on and you don't even feel chilly. :)
