Tom's sister Nancy came into work yesterday for the first time in months.... In fact, I believe this has been the first time she's come back since he passed away.
She said it's been difficult to come back, that's it's an emotional journey. Understandably so, but it was terribly nice to see her again. They're almost done moving everything out of Tom's house, the estate is about to go up for sale.
I bought her coffee's for her. She barely held back tears. I can't tell if it was the right thing to do or not, I feel as if it may have been too bold of me on her first visit back. Either way I didn't want to pass up quite possibly the last opportunity I had with her to show my gratuity.
I'm going to miss my regulars here.
