(no subject)
Well, I decided to stop paying LJ every year, mostly because, well... I don't use LJ all that much anymore! And 30$ and then some was a little too steep for this month, particularly for a service I don't care all that much about anymore.
Making icons was fun though. Might be one reason why I miss RPing? But I just don't have the attention span for it anymore, I guess. I play Aion and TF2 and L4D and I'm fine with that.
Btw Aion is super fun. And it's really pretty.
Last night I went out for coffee with a friend of mine at a local place in the artsy part of town, and there we proceeded to hipster watch. It's like people watching, but with hipsters. One of them was even reading Ayn Rand. I was impressed.
Man do you know that some of them wear the tight pants, but then it's like they pull it down so the butt is all saggy?? it's like... Gangsta/hipster chic. (I don't like it! If the guys want to wear tight pants, at least let me look at your butt properly!)
Anyway, I wanted to yell out PULL YOUR PANTS UP at a bunch of them. My friend Matt was conflicted on the matter, because while he thought it would be mean, clearly he was thinking of doing the same. In the end, however, it was not done.
Looking for a job so far has proven not too easy, but I'm at a difficult part because, well... I don't have any office training ): so I might just have to see what I can get away with without it, and hope I'll get trained? Because it's not just emotional anymore, my job is physically painful and I would like to gtfo as soon as I can.
I don't want to spend money on courses ):
