wow so my cousin got married - pretty nice wedding as well. this pretty much happen just after arriving back in Los Angeles from San Francisco. i mention earlier that i started a Diner's Club with some of my friends but that pretty much died so i will continue the reviews via my live journal. i'll add 2 now from San Francisco - one is a chain but i'll review anyways (back in the club it was agreed that no chains would be included)

First off the environment is extremely nice - pretty much Hawaiian / Robinson Crusoe. Nice music and an incredible view of the bay.
Next the food - i had the mahi mahi pretty good, but the portion was kinda of small, my friends orders the rib eye and that juicy and sweet "perfect".
Drinks - we all decided to drink that night since the place wasn't too far away from where i was staying. i had a trader vic's grog. only reason why i ordered it was because i wanted to try out a grog since Monkey Island. however the drink was disappointing, the taste was just sweet and pretty felt like i was drinking a girly drink.
Price - considering that this is San Francisco i'll give it a decent price. it felt i was really paying for the view and that the way the tipping work was weird. you had to tip 2 people - a captain and waiter. i really don't see a point to that but whatever.
Overall i'd recommend that specific location just because of the view. the food itself was good but i'm sure you'd be able to find that style at every other Trader Vic's.
