Memes!

I'm a bit stuck on several writing projects, so meme time! Try any or all of 'em.

Alfred Hitchcock said, "If I made Cinderella, the audience would immediately be looking for a body in the coach." If I wrote a story today, what would the readers immediately look for?

I don't thing you've ever done Gaeta/Apollo. I'd love to see them go on a date.

Ha. :) Well, I sort of did Gaeta/Lee in "Sanctuary," and swore I'd never, ever go there again because they caused me such trouble. Felix would not cooperate at all.

That was not a date. However, I'll save Felix/Lee for your next 'Never will I challenge'. If I could enslave you, I'd really love to see your take on the hot, steamy sex scene Tom and Felix both wanted, but never got in "Sanctuary".

Fun snippets! I am intrigued.

Enslave the writer- a BSG/Glee crossover involving Gaeta, Hoshi, Kurt, and Blaine :) Preferably with a happy ending.

Unfortunately, I suck at the Alfred Hitchcock one.

That would be fun. I'm almost sure a Gaeta, Hoshi, Kurt and Mercedes one will happen someday. Hoshi and Mercedes get along really, really well in my head. And Kurt and Gaeta don't, so it's a fun combination.

I would SO read that. Hoshi and Mercedes would definitely be adorable voices of reason, and I just cannot see Kurt and Gaeta getting along at all. They're too much alike in all the wrong ways.

BTW, Narcho is informing me that the Marine with the Pretty Eyes can go suck it (his words, not mine) and that he's volunteering for Kurt. I'm not quite sure I'm going to be able to tell him no. (I think Hoshi is oddly better suited, but he says that while he's fine perving on men 10 years younger, boys 20 years younger really makes him uncomfortable. To which Narcho's response is "more for me." Help.)

Aw, poor MWPE--first I kill him off all the time, and now Narcho is acing him out of his one shot at getting laid. ;) Why does Narcho not surprise me? I could see those two hooking up at some point--they both like the pretty. As for something more lasting, Narcho is going to have to work for it to convince me, because a Hoshi-like personality seems like a better fit for Kurt to me, too. But that sounds exactly like the sort of challenge Narcho would be glad to take up...

Oh man, people keep giving me hard ones! Polyamory is something I struggle with in fic. It's something I get on an intellectual level, but not on an emotional one, and I don't feel like there's anything within my emotional experience close enough for me to extrapolate from to get there, if that makes any sense. Plus I have a hard time seeing Athena or Helo with anyone but each other once they're together.

Yes, I am writing Bill/Saul. I'm writing them during the time when Bill was still married and he'd just gotten Saul back in the military. It's interesting to write, though I'm not sure I'm completely satisfied with it. Then again, it's not done, either, so I guess I shouldn't be worried about my satisfaction with it yet. :)

I'm trying to remember if you've ever written a Felix backstory. If not, I'd make you write one.

Ooh, that would be fun. I wrote one for him as part of "Mathematics," but I have a different one for "Picture Perfect" that, if I ever get around to writing the sequels to that, will definitely come up.

I don't like forcing people to write things. It should come from inside. But I'd like to see you write Felix/Lee or Felix/Jean Barolay. I've said this before. But with the former, I'd help you write it because I know you found it so hard before. With the latter, I'd be no help, though. I think I keep randomly mentioning it because I know I can't write it.

I like when you write angst! You're good at it. :-)

Heh, yep, the only way I could write Gaeta/Lee is with a lot of help. :) I think the only het Gaeta I've written was Gaeta/Sweet Eight, though Jean is an intriguing character. I always liked her.
