Attention Gleeks...
Is anybody else following along with miggy's Glee Amazing Race? I discovered it early, early this morning (damn my screwed-up sleep schedule) and feel the need to rec. I don't think I've seen a full season of "The Amazing Race," but even though I'm not a big reality TV watcher, I did like that one. Also, it doesn't really matter whether you like reality TV or not. It's a hilarious semi-audience-participation fic involving such teams as Sue and Figgins, Jesse and Shelby, and yes, even Josh Groban and April Rhodes, continent-hopping and having to do weird challenges. And then they all have to deal with each other at the hotel for twelve hours at the end of each leg. And Holly Holiday hosting, apparently semi-inebriated. Comedy. Gold.
As much as I love a lot of teams (Team Cute Dating Couple, Team Inevitable Family Team, Team VA, and Team Awkward Dating Exes--oh, and Team Dudebro!), I'm shamelessly rooting for Team PTA (aka Team Pleasant Middle-Aged Women). Now I want Shannon-Carole friendship fic of some sort.
(Also, if you want a little bit more of an introduction--like the whole thing behind the cliched team names--read Glee Survivor: Reunion. I'm not a fan of Survivor, so I haven't read the whole competition yet, but a big part of the reunion show is setting up the teams for The Amazing Race.)
