Gakked from everyone (being a late adopter makes attribution easier, huh?):

If you were asked to pick one scene, one shot, one detail, one moment of some kind out of all the things I've made and say "This, this, for whatever reason, I remember, this is something that struck home with me, that I wanted to keep," what would it be?

Everything about your Farewell Symphony, which I still sometimes re-read (sometimes while playing the score). Two of the things that stuck with me in particular were the scene of Helo and Gaeta talking in Gaeta's bunk, and Hot Dog's "Yo, Admiral!" scene with Hoshi. ;)

Three answers for you:

1.) The real-life sex scene in Wash Your Cares Away. So, so lovely and tender and desperate and loving.

2.) the girls come home in Picture Perfect

3.) Chapter 4 of Culture Shock. I love the girls and their future on Earth, especially Dee.

It's a tie! Between (1) your response to my vid recs earlier in the year. That response prompted a lot of unposted fic and well, thinky thoughts. Especially about House of the Rising Sun. :-)

And (2) this:

It wasn’t the best frak she’d had in her life, but it was far from the worst. Startlingly good, actually, considering it was Gaeta. He was much more athletic than she ever would have given a bridge bunny credit for, and what he lacked in skill he made up for in enthusiasm and an ability to read cues and follow silent instructions. But best of all, it was heat without passion, feeling without emotion.Because I ship them. And in a non-hate sex way too. But that last line seemed real and very Kara and well, I want to keep and hold onto all the real and Kara moments in fic ( ... )

Hhhm... Well. The sex scene in Unstruck Music- the way you wrote it in such lush, musical terms and the genuine attachment, affection... love? That Two felt for Felix... it was such an interesting counterpoint to your Eight in Mathematics.

Also... "When he saw Felix’s heart break, that was when he learned for certain that Cylons had hearts."

That line devastated me. I couldn't get it out of my head for days.

The Felix and Louis go to a con special chapter in Culture Shock - Let's go spend an obscene amount of money on comic books. I just loved that little vignette of them together and happy and wonderfully spectacularly geeky.
