Hoshi: Beauty and Brains with a Thing for...
...Chains?
So, I was at IMDB looking up who the writer for this week's episode of Dollhouse is (Tim Minear, who wrote one of my top three favorite Firefly eps., "Out of Gas"), and I decided to procrastinate a bit and play the six degrees of separation game. It's especially fun when Canadian actors are involved, because the Vancouver acting pool is small enough that the same folks crop up a lot.
Anyway, I ended up at Brad Dryborough's page. In addition to playing Hoshi, he's done mostly indie and short films and guest spots on a few of the shows that everybody else from BSG guested on: both Stargates, Smallville, Da Vinci's Inquest, and The L Word. For that last show, he was credited as "Man On All Fours." But it gets better. The other guest stars for that episode include, and I quote: "Teaser Woman," "Man on Sling," and "Woman Whipping." I think you can draw your own conclusions from that.
I've never seen The L Word. A part of me is tempted to go YouTube hunting, but that impulse is being outweighed by my fear of finding it and then not being able to ever look at Hoshi the same way again. (Hey, it took me quite awhile to get over the AJ as hot tranny mess vid somebody dug up over at gaeta_squee awhile back.) Anyway, I just found it...interesting, and figured I'd put it out there so any L Word watchers could keep a look-out for him.
