From these frames it’s so easy to say that Gary Lightbody is “good-looking”, and actually, he really is. Although I think what makes him genuinely attractive is the fact that he allows his songs and music to radiate through him.
I listen to a LOT of bands, and while I’m thrilled at all the music that they make, there are a few which create entities of their own. The songs from these handful go after you to make you want them more and to remind you of how it really feels to be alive.
While all of it is of course the joint effort of the band, much of the believability rests on the vocalist.
For Snow Patrol, The Reindeer Section, Tired Pony you’re some of my chosen handful. only the sincerest love for you.:)
For Gary Lightbody, you sir are an excellent writer, lyricist, and singer. I love how you put much of yourself into your songs -- into the words and in all its other nooks and crannies.
Note that whenever I listen to Snow Patrol, The Reindeer Section, Tired Pony; I’m listening to the tiny beams of light that warm my heart and everything else that makes me a feeling, human being.
