Feeling blessed
Had a good weekend after a bad week. The bad - wacky hormones. The good -
emusnareand fiance (we really need a better LJ name for her) came to visit. We did late Christmas presents with the whole family, after a brunch at the Sugarhouse.
emusnareand financier gave me New World Symphonies and Moon Sun & All Things, two CDs of Baroque music from Latin America, which, with 1000-year-old church music, is becoming my favorite music genre. There was, alas, no sledding, but as Tua said, there was a lot of game-playing and good food and drink. And talk!
Now I'm working on the paper I'm submitting to SBL, and which I am very excited about! I love having a job that feels like playing so much of the time! And which, I believe, will help me do my part in tikkun olam.
This is my new cheesy icon. It's Rhiannon, who (with Brigid) is one of my favorite goddesses. Cheesy it may be, but it also has a topless goddess!
