Here's my schedule for next semester. I'm marginally excited about it.
ANTH 161: Introduction to Biological Anthropology
PHIL 379E: The Philosophy of Emotions
ENGL 439E: Eastern Religion and Poetry
ENGL 450: English Grammar
ENGL 490: Introduction to Advanced Studies
MUSC 124: Symphonic Band
I'm really excited about Introduction to Advanced Studies! In the class we are going to act as a focus group for Oxford University Press, test driving a new digital manuscript of Edmund Spenser's "The Fairy Queen." It's sort of like Legally Blonde, at the end of the semester, students who show "exceptional ability" may be offered a paid internship for the summer. If I ended up getting the internship, I'd be sad about not going home to Charleston for the summer, but the opportunity would be too cool to pass up.
On another note, I'm trying not to neglect fandom. Really. Its just so hard to keep up with when you have several 20-page term papers lying around waiting to be written.
