i've actually gotten the bulk of my mini teach done and it isn't 11:00 on monday night...i'm surprised
admittedly, i still have a buttload million list of things to do, but i'm going to feel accomplished while i can
last night was absolutely magical, to be cliche about it. celebration is a beautiful city at night and dancing in the soap bubbles snow to christmas music with my love is the kind of thing that occupies my sweetest dreams. i spent the majority of the evening wanting to burst from being so happy.
this morning cathy had me sub for the sixth grade and had the student assistants handle my kindergarten class. sixth grade is fun, in a completely different way than kindergarten is. kindergarteners are adorable and funny because they're so innocent and naive. sixth graders are hilarious for the opposite reason. if i'm going to judge myself, my greatest weakness is keeping control of the class, but i eventually got them to quiet down after the stoning and they had a blast, so all in all i'm a success, and that makes me happy.
