I dare to dance,
Fighting against the image
cast upon me.

I was often portrayed
'the good girl'.
Irony persued me.

Later, I quickly became
'the bad girl'.
I didn't mind so much.

So now, stereotypes aside,
I dance, mindless-
the music more important.

Let them wonder-
I have found myself
in spins, shimmys, and skirts.
