Why I play WoW:

Twenty-five people screaming into Ventrilo when the hardest content in WoW finally bites the dust.

This follows two months of continuous wiping for four days a week - imperfect raid makeups, stupid mistakes, naysayers and "let's just go do Maly", etc. For awhile I thought we were actually regressing instead of progressing.

Tonight it payed off. Everything came together somehow, we had all the powerhouse players on and we kept it together somehow, all the way to the end. People were shouting "Steve Perry!" and "Don't stop believin'!" And one by one, those three drakes fell, and then Sarth fell too. The tank was in tears at the end.

And to think I was almost ready to just stop trying after getting meteors to the face on nearly every attempt. Tonight we bring home Twilight Vanquisher titles, titles that we spent weeks earning, and now get to wear with pride.

This, folks, is why raiding is my game.

Roast dragon, anyone? There's plenty to go around!
