Suprise Suprise!!!!
Holy CRAPOLA. I won another race. This was the "Capitol City Criterium."
IT started off just like any other race. I got to the starting line, heard the whistle, then got to the front of the pack. An old rival decided to jump off the front from the start. I knew it was not going to stick but I went anyway. A lap later it was just us, then another lap later two riders joined us. The next lap the pack causht the last couple people in the break, but I jumped off the front. By lap 3 (of 40) I was in the front. I did not have a huge team to back me up this time, so I was kinda scared that I would be caught. But fortuneatey, I was feeling the best I have ever felt. I averaged 186BPM and an average speed of 25.1 MPH. This was kinda odd because I have never EVER had my heart rate that high for that long (50 minutes). I have had it lower then that and died after 10 minutes. I think I must have accidentally found the right combo of warmup, streatching, diet, and guts (stupidity).
I gotta admit, I am not facing the best competition. THe field size was only 22, and only 12 of them were 1/2's, but I am very happy that I was ably to solo off the front for almost 50 minutes.
I would like to expand but I gotta go meet with the Prof Man.
