Farewell
Dear Flist, you don't know how heartbroken this decision makes me, but I'm afraid it was inevitable.
I'm leaving fandom.
I no longer enjoy it, and the set I've fallen in with doesn't help. I read fic to read stories. Who cares if the spelling and grammar are good? I don't want to hold other people to my standards. As well, more and more people are writing characters I dislike, such as Kairi. Writers insist on giving her decisive action, when all she does in the series is run around being helpless. She doesn't deserve to be in fic, and neither do queer characters. Fanfic as a whole goes against my moral standards, and the Internet's too overrun with it for me to avoid it.
